Dale Robertson, DMSc, MCHS, BCHS, PA-C robertsond@franklinpierce.edu Hi, I'm Dr. Dale Robertson, Program Director and Associate Professor for the Physician Assistant Hybrid Program at ľ¹ÏÖ±²¥. My research focuses on managing PA programs and studying lung and breathing disorders. I'm a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Physician Assistant Education Association, and the Washington Association of Physician Assistants. My goal is to promote critical thinking by creating student-centered learning environments. I also support authentic learning experiences that promote rich and robust student-to-instructor engagements. |

Aly Rosendale, DMSc, PA-C rosendalea@franklinpierce.edu Hi, I'm Dr. Aly Rosendale, and I work as the Director of Clinical Education and an Assistant Professor in the Physician Assistant program. My research focuses on PA education, professionalism, emotional intelligence, and cancer care. I have presented at national conferences and contributed to medical education publications. I'm a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Physician Assistant Education Association. I enjoy helping students become skilled and compassionate healthcare providers. |
Angela Kenney PA-C kenneya@franklinpierce.edu Hi, I'm Angela Kenney, an Assistant Professor in the Physician Assistant program at ľ¹ÏÖ±²¥. After starting my career in emergency medicine, I found my passion in dermatology, where I've been practicing for over 20 years. I spent nearly a decade at the Mayo Clinic in Arizona, serving as an Instructor in Dermatology and founding the Mayo Clinic PA Dermatology Internship. My research focuses on dermatology and teledermatology, and I've published original research and participated in clinical trials involving medical devices and medications. In addition to teaching in the Arizona MPAS Hybrid Program, I continue to practice medical and surgical dermatology. |

Hi, I'm Dr. Carla Shamblen, I teach various clinical courses, including surgery, women's health, pediatrics, family medicine, internal medicine, emergency medicine, psychiatry, and behavioral health. I'm a member of the Arizona State Association of Physician Assistants, the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Physician Assistant Education Association. Krysten Carlson, DMSc, MPAS, PA-C carlsonk@franklinpierce.edu Hi, I'm Dr. Krysten Carlson, an Assistant Professor. My research focuses on hospital medicine, and I'm a proud member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. I believe that learning flourishes in an inclusive environment where every student feels valued, respected and empowered. I design learning experiences that promote dialogue, critical thinking, and real-world problem-solving—tools essential for clinical practice. My goal is to guide students to become collaborative, culturally competent, and reflective healthcare professionals who are equipped to lead and advocate within an evolving healthcare system. |

My research interests include pulmonology, orthopedics, and urology. I'm a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), the Arizona State Association of Physician Assistants (ASAPA), and the American Urological Association (AUA). Chrissy Holland, PhD, PA-C hollandc@franklinpierce.edu Hi, I'm Dr. Christine Holland, an Associate Professor in the Physician Assistant Hybrid Program. I teach courses like PA Professional Practice II and have taught on subjects such as mental health and clinical skills at other universities. My research includes work on human T-cell clones and exploring topics in medical education. I believe teaching with technology can bring people together from all over the world. In my classes, I use real-life examples, videos, and group work to help students learn, connect, and grow into strong, respectful, and confident learners. |

Hi, I'm Melanie DeSoto, Clinical Placement Coordinator for the Physician Assistant Hybrid Program at ľ¹ÏÖ±²¥. I help students find and prepare for their clinical rotations during the final year of the program. My work focuses on supporting students as they gain real-world experience in healthcare settings. Outside of the university, I stay active in my community by serving on the PTA board and as president of the basketball booster club. |
